How to book and hire rates

Hire Rates

From 1st May 2021

The basic hire fee is $15 per hour with a $75 minimum charge.

For a full day (morning, afternooon and evening) the charge is $120 per day (for up to 3 days).

You should allow time in your booking for setting up before and cleaning up after your event.


There is also a bond required of $100 which will be repaid after your event, provided the hall is left clean and there are no breakages.

How to book and pay

First check the Booking Diary . If the date(s) and times you want are available do one of the following to make your booking.

Book by email

Download the booking form in Word format . Complete your details using Word, save the form and email it to: Payment must be made by direct deposit to our bank account (BSB 633000 Account 156634198). The booking officer will return your confirmation by email as soon as possible.

Book by mail

Print out the booking form , complete it and send it to the Booking Officer, Fern Tree Community Centre, 8 Stephenson Place, Fern Tree, Tas 7054 with a cheque or confirmation of a direct deposit to our bank account. The booking officer will return confirmation as soon as possible.

Note that your booking will not appear in the Booking Diary until we have received  payment.

Minimum deposit is the $100 bond or the hire fees. Full payment is preferred at time of booking, but must be made at least 14 days prior to your event. Bookings made 14 days or fewer before the event must be paid in full at the time of booking.
